The Berger Foundation Iceplex is a year-round community destination where locals and visitors can skate, train, compete, and most importantly—have fun.
Located next to Acrisure Arena, the 36,000-square-foot facility features an NHL-sized rink with seating for 250 spectators, four locker rooms, and a mezzanine level with concessions and gathering areas.
As the official training center of the Coachella Valley Firebirds, the Iceplex hosts a wide range of programs and events, including:
- Public skating
- Recreational and figure skating programs
- Adult and youth hockey leagues
- Tournaments and exhibition events
- Themed community skates and special events
The Iceplex is also home to the CV SK8 Academy and offers daily public skating sessions throughout the year.
Whether visiting for a public skate, hockey game, birthday party, corporate outing, nonprofit event, or private rental, the Berger Foundation Iceplex provides a welcoming and energetic environment for all ages and skill levels.

Founding Partner
The H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation is a private charitable foundation dedicated to supporting organizations and initiatives that help people help themselves. Founded in 1961, the foundation has focused its charitable and community contributions in the Coachella Valley since 1996. The Berger Foundation Iceplex was developed on foundation-owned land as a long-term investment in the community and its future.
