CVHL Ice Fest
December 6-8, 2024
The Berger Foundation Iceplex is excited to announce its first adult ice hockey tournament!
Each division is open to 4 teams, with an entry fee of $3,000 per team, guaranteeing at least 4 games plus extra perks! Free agents are also welcome.

Saturday, December 7 | 6:50am – 11:00pm
Sunday, December 8 | 12:00pm – 7:10pm
Hockey Divisions
Open to hockey players 18 and older, the tournament offers three divisions to suit all skill levels:
- A Division: For highly competitive players, including those with experience at the college or junior level.
- B Division: For players looking for a competitive experience but at a slightly lower intensity—ideal for those who are older, newer to the game, or prefer a more relaxed atmosphere.
- Women’s Division: Designed specifically for beginner women players.
Additional Perks
- Each team will be given 15 free beer tickets when they check in for the pizza and beer party on Friday, December 6 (must show valid I.D. to redeem and consume alcohol).

- Winning teams will receive “CVHL Ice Fest Champion” hats.
- Adult Hockey Night Group Ticket Offer to attend the Texas Stars vs CV Firebirds game at Acrisure Arena on Thursday, December 5. Adult Hockey night allows your team so purchase tickets together, first come-first served. We encourage you to wear your adult league jerseys to the Firebirds game! Purchase HERE.

YOUTH CAMPS
Fire & ice learn to play beginning hockey Winter camp
Co-ed | Ages 6-12
Two-day camp sessions:
December 23-24 | 9:00am – 1:00pm
December 26-27 | 9:00am – 1:00pm
Spend your holidays on the ice at the COOLEST spot in the desert! Hockey players in our half day camp will get two daily group hockey lessons. Make friends while practicing skills on the ice, off the ice games and more.
Camp Info
- Pre-requisite required to register: Must be enrolled or have completed the Learn to Play Hockey program.
- Players must bring all appropriate on ice hockey gear.
- 2 daily lessons, scrimmages and daily off ice warm-up.
- Instructors consist of USA Hockey Staff Coaches.
What To Bring
- Running shoes and a change of clothes for off ice activities.
- A lunch time snack.
- A water bottle (filtered water stations are available for refills).
- Food will not be provided, but please let us know if your child has any food allergies so that we can be aware of and monitor the food other skaters bring to camp.

Skate Sharpening
Need a sharper edge on your blades? Stop by the Welcome Center to drop off your own hockey skates to be sharpened for just $15. We cannot guarantee immediate turnaround for sharpening.
