Welcome to the Berger Foundation Iceplex Adult Hockey League!
Whether you are new to the sport and looking to play hockey for the first time or have been playing for years and looking to play in an Elite level hockey league, Berger Foundation Iceplex has a hockey program or hockey league for you.
(CVHL) COACHELLA VALLEY ADULT HOCKEY Summer - 2025
Summer Season April 14 – September 30, 2025 – with Gold, Silver North & South, and Bronze
Season Sign Up:
New to 2025 all players will be responsible for signing up for the league before it begins on April 14th.
We have removed team fees and instituted a pay to play structure. If you would like to play as a full-time player for the Summer 2025, please click the link below to register.
If you are interested in being a part time player, please read the box to the right of this titled Part Time Player List –> You are required to be registered under USA Hockey to be eligible.

Read below to help understand which level to sign up for as well.
All goaltenders should email Bmullin@bergerfoundationiceplex.com to register, do not register below. You will be sent a separate link.
Part-Time Player List:
Below is a link to sign up as a substitute player as well as a section to pick which division you would prefer to participate in. Subs will need to be approved before participating.
Substitute players are required to pay $45 at the door as well as have a current USA Hockey membership ready.
For any player interested in joining a team full time, but the season has already started, please reach out to Bmullin@bergerfoundationiceplex.com for further assistance.
Looking for more Ice time?
Players who are eligible for multiple divisions can sign up for a second team for a discounted price. Check with a captain or with Brandon to see what divisions you are eligible for this season. Secondary team signup links will be sent upon request.
League Details
All leagues are non-checking and co-ed
Gold Division
Individual $525/ season, Early bird available for $500 until March 31, 2025. Payment plan is available for $575 a season and will be split into 4 payments.
Competitive league for advanced players.
21 games | 20 regular + 1 playoff game minimum.
All teams qualify for single elimination playoffs in the summer.
Highest level offered, most players played Travel, HS Varsity, Junior B/C, ACHA D2/D3.

Game Slots are tentatively set as Monday nights at 6:20pm & Tuesday nights at 7:25pm.
Silver Division
The Silver Division will be split into Silver North and Silver South.
Individual $525/ season, Early bird available for $500 until March 31, 2025. Payment plan is available for $575 a season and will be split into 4 payments.
Recreational league for intermediate players.
21 games | 20 regular + 1 playoff game minimum.
All teams qualify for single elimination playoffs in the summer.
Silver North is designed for competitive players with less experience or older in age than the Gold Division. Intermediate in skill level but eager to compete.
Silver South is designed for Novice players without prior competitive hockey experience and typically your 60+ players would fall in this category. Players have the tools to be successful but haven’t mastered them all or are lacking others.

North game slots are tentatively set as Monday nights at 7:50pm or 9:20pm and Tuesdays at 8:55pm.
South game slots are tentatively set for Wednesdays at 8:00pm and 9:30pm.
Bronze Division
Individual $525/ season, Early bird available for $500 until March 31, 2025. Payment plan is available for $575 a season and will be split into 4 payments.
Recreational league for BEGINNER players (Recommend finishing Learn to Play 1 prior)
21 games | 20 regular + 1 playoff game minimum.
All teams qualify for single elimination playoffs in the summer.
Designed for players new to hockey and have played for less than a year or two.

Game Slots are tentatively set for Sunday nights at 7:00pm and 8:30pm.

USA HOCKEY
All players must be 18 years of age or older. It is required to purchase a USA Hockey membership. This membership fee is not included in your league fees – Register here

LOCKER ROOMS
Main locker rooms are Co-ed for adults. Female-only locker room is available upon request.
REFEREES & SCOREKEEPERS
League hires certified on-ice officials. CVHL is operating under California Amateur Hockey Association guidelines.
CVHL always needs new referees – if you are a hockey player who cares about the game and wants a great part-time job, attend a Level 1 Seminar.
League utilizes arena employees as off-ice officials (scorekeepers). If interested, please email Jeff Larson at jlarson@bergerfoundationiceplex.com
Skate Sharpening
Need a sharper edge on your blades? Stop by the Welcome Center to drop off your own hockey skates to be sharpened for just $15. We cannot guarantee immediate turnaround for sharpening.
